Competition info in English

3On 14 July all younger and older cycling enthusiasts are more than welcome to spend a sporty and active day at Pirita where we can all compete in a variety of different cycling races. Sporting club CFC holds this event annually – for the 14th year to date – to remember professional Estonian cyclist Lauri Aus.

Altogether there are races in 4 different categories:

Tillusõit (for toddlers) – 200 m
Peresõit (for families) – 6 km
Rahvasõit (for everyone) – 54 km
Põhisõit (for licensed cyclists) – 126 km rules:  http://ejl.ee/ofile.php?lid=7750

Race Map and starting line coordinates: 59.466943, 24.833819

Rahvasõit, meaning “crowd race”, covers the distance of 54 kilometers and starts exactly at 3pm near Pirita Velodrome, Rummu tee 3. We ride on the roads of Tallinn and Harjumaa, through Loo borough and twice around lake Maardu. There are different record-keepings for mountain bikes and road bikes.
